(((((This album is part of a new series entitled Lithuanian Diaspora celebrating the music of Lithuanian musicians in the USA.))))))

T Stephen is a Harvard Anthropologist who traveled to the Peruvian jungle in 2008 to partake in the now-famed ayahuasca ceremony. The album tracks his journey through a week of ceremonies. One day participating in a ceremony, the next recording a song. Using only his mobile Zoom recorder, a self-modified charango, flute and a thatched floor for drums, each song reflects his mental and emotional state as it progresses throughout his week. In turns beautiful, profound, embarrassing, revelatory and strange, the songs are shockingly honest. 

Also included are super rare field recordings of the ceremonies themselves, in which the Peruvian shaman performs ancient ceremonial songs while astral projecting into many of the participants consciousness’ at once.
